Yoghurt is a rich nourishing ingredient. In addition to its nutritional properties, yoghurt makes an excellent cosmetic ingredient due to its levels of lactose, proteins, minerals and vitamins, which increase the moisture levels in the upper layers of the epidermis. Protein, a basic constituent of the skin, and lactose nourish and restructure the epidermis. These properties ‘wrapped’ in yoghurt’s cooling, soft texture leaves dry skin areas moisturised, soothed and refreshed. The wealth of minerals and vitamins [Calcium, Phosphor, Potassium, Zinc, and vitamins A, E, D, B2 and B12] also provide antioxidant protection and help reduce the visible signs of ageing. Lactic acid has anti-microbial properties, helping to fight certain skin disorders while yoghurt’s vitamins E and D, help relieve and heal sunburn impact.

• Yogurt whey: Yogurt is a natural healer. It is the antidote for the burn, re-establishing acid/alkaline balance for sunburned skin. Working as a natural moisturizer. It also reduce pore size, improve overall skin texture, and give  healthy glow.

• Vetiver Grass (Vetiveria zizniodes): Vetiver is very much useful for the skin, it is used to alleviate the inflammation of acne, aids in healing of cuts, and it reduces oil in the skin. It benefits in dryness and cracking of skin.
• Lemon (Citrus limon): Lemon is a source of pure, fresh L-ascorbic acid. The vitamin c itself evens out the skin tone and lightens/brightens it up, as well as exfoliates the skin.

Properties: It is a unique composite of herbs known for skin care, fairness, Sunscreen & exfoliating.

Use: Use as is. Usual final concentration 3 – 5%. For external use only.

Application: Creams, lotions, and all kinds of skin-lightening/ exfoliating products.
